TWEEN BROADWAY AND SHELTON STREET, FIXING DATE OF HEAR~

WHEREAS, the City Council has initiated proceedings to establish set-
back lines on West Eighth Street and referred the question thereof to the
pl-~n~ug Cnmm~ssion for reccm~aendation, and the plann~ug C~mm~ssion reccm~nended
that the setback line on the north side of West Eighth Street be reduced to
thirty feet (30') north of the center line thereof;
NOW~ '£..:REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Ann hereby declares its intention to establish setback lines as provided
for in Sections 915~ through 9158, inclusive, Santa Ann Municipal Code;
West Eighth Street, between Broadway and Shelton Street
thirty feet (30') on the North and Silty-four feet (54') on
the South, both measured at right angles with and from the
surveyed center line.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the 17th day of
May, 1954, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Third and Main Street,
Santa Ann, California, is hereby established as the hour and place of hearing
when all persons having any objection to the establishment of said proposed
setback lines may appear and present their arguments.
BE IT FUR','~ RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby
directed to publish notice of said hearing by publishing a copy of this Resolution
once in the Santa Ann Independent, and the Engineer's office is directed to post
one copy of this Resolution ~$n~picuou~ly ~pon said street in front of each
block of said street where said set back line is proposed to be established.
Both publication and posting sb-ll be made at least ten (10) days before time
of hearing.
