VACATION, ABANDONMENT, AND CLOSING
OF A PORTION OF DOHMAN~ STREET
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 19th day of April 19~4, the
City Council adopted Resolution No. 54-49 declaring i~s intention
to vacate a portion of Dorman Street, which said Resolution was
published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was held on the 17th day O~ May,
195~, at the hour of 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall, Santa Aha, California, upon due notice in said Resolution and
said posted notices contained;
NOW, THEREFORE, AFTER DUE HEARING, BE IT RESOLVED: That
the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, from all
the evidence submitted, that the portion of Dorman Street herein-
below and in said Resolution described is unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said City Council hereby
makes its Order vacating, abandoning and closing up, for street
purposes, that portion of Dorman Street in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beg~ntng at the Northwest corner of Lot i in Block ll of
"Subdivision of Blocks l0 and ll in the Town of Santa Aha
East", as shown on a Map recorded in Book 24, Page76, of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California;
thenc~e No~th60~°o54' 58" East, lO.O0 feet to a point;
thence North 09' 19" East, 37A12 feet to a point;
thence South 58° 27' ~8" East, 5~,84 feet to a point;
thence North 89° 50'~l" West, 78.78 feet along the
Northerly line of said Lot i in Block ll, to the point
of begin~i~g.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the l7thday of May , 195~.
