COMMISSION HAD RECO~9~ENDED THAT SAME BE GRANTED.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 634, recommended
to the City Council that a variance be granted to allow the construction of
a church on 4.8 acres of land West of Santiago Avenue and 273 feet South of
Santa Clara Avenue; and
WHEREAS, after due hearing the City Council does not find grounds
sufficient to Justify the granting of said variance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Variance Application
No. 488, hereinabove referred to, be denied for the reason that the require-
ments contained in Section 9114.2 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code have not
been met in that no sufficient special circumstances attached to the property
involved, and the property does not appear to be dsprived of privileges
possessed by other properties in the same district and vicinity.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at
its regular meeting held on the 17th day of May ,
1954.
