HomeMy WebLinkAbout54-061RESOLUTION NO. 5~-61 GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. 490 WHERE CITY COUNCIL INCREASED TEE AREA COVERED BY VARIANCE WITHOUT PLANNING CO~94ISSION RECONR~ENDATION. WHEREAS, the Planning Com~saion, by Resolution No. 630, recommended that a variance be granted on Application No. 490 to allow the uses requested on a portion of the property for which the uses were requested, and the City Council after hearing has determined that the grant of the variance should be enlarged beyond that recommended by the Planning Comm~ ssion. NOW~ T~iREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the uses requested in Variance Application No. 490 be and the same are hereby granted to establish a com- pletely modern trailer court with playground facilities, in conjunction with the existing Kellogg's Motor Court upon the property described as follows: A portion of Lot 4 and all of Lots 5 and 6 and a portion of Lot 7, in Block D of Tract No. 512, in the City of Santa Aha, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 19, Page 16 of Misc. Maps, Records of Orange County, California, and all of Lot y and Lot l, except that portion South of the Creek, and Lot 2 of Tract 512. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Council finds that special cir- cumstances here exist because of the effect of the new Freeway upon the exist- ing business; that substantial property rights are involved and hardship is here experience~ because of the position of the property ~n~,ediately adjacent to the Freeway; and that material d-m-ge will not result to other property in the neighborhood.
