AMENDMENT TO LEASE.
WHEREAS, heretofore under date of May 1~ 1950 a lease was entered
into between the City of Santa Ana and the State of California for space in
the Eighth Street Headquarters building; and
WttEREAS, the State of California desired that the City do certain
improvement and redecorating work in said area so let, and the City agreed
to do so but provided a higher rental than would otherwise have been provided
for said area; and
WHEREAS, the sum so spent by the City of Santa Ana has been entirely
repaid to the City and the rental of said space during the extended or option
to renew period contained in said lease should be Forty-six Dollars and Eight
Cents ($46.08) per month.
NOW, TlimREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Council of the City of Santa Aha
hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute that certain instrument entitled
"Amendment to Lease" to provide for a rental of Forty-six Dollars and Eight
Cents ($46.08) per month for the period of November l, 1952 to April 30, 1955.
