ROAD PURPOSES
~HEREAS, GERTRUDE MONTGONfl~RY and LOUISE MONTGOMERY have presented to
the City Council a grant deed dated June 30th, 1954, for valuable consideration
in the amount of ,~3,750.00, conveying property in the City of Santa Ama, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for road purposes over and across the following:
Beginning at a point on the East line of Lot 12 in Block "A" of
~Blee's Second Addition to the Town of Santa Ama," as shown on a
Map thereof recorded in Book 30, page 75, Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, State of California, 54.03 feet Southerly from
the Northeast corner of said Lot 12; thence Northerly 54.03 feet
along said East line of said Lot 12 to 'the Northeast corner of
said Lot 12~ thence ~esterly 47.11 feet along the Northerly line
of said Lot 12; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a curve having
a radius of 42 feet, concave Southwesterly and tangent to the last
described course an arc distance of 54.22 feet to a point of compound
curvature; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a curve concave
Southwesterly, having a radius of 328 feet, an arc distance of
24.22 feet to the point of beginning.
F~cepting therefrom a strip of land 5 feet in width along the
North line of said land as condemned by the City of Santa Ana for
the widening of First Street as excepted in the deed from Fannie
L. Eastman to Charlie Louise Montgomery and others recorded June
25th~ 1936 in Book 829, page 274 of Official Records.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ama accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to
be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED ~VD ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa ~ at
its regular meeting held on the 6th day of July , 1954.
