1945, BETWEEN T~d~ CITY OF SANTA ANA AND D. W. ELLIOTT
WHF21EAS, heretofore, on March 19th, 1945, a lease was entered into be-
tween the City of Santa Aha as Contracting Agent for the cities of Orange,
Fullerton, Anaheim and Santa Aha, the city members of ~ection One of the Orange
County Joint Outfa]l Sewer, and D. W. Elliott for the production of oil and gas,
and
WHEREAS, all title and possession to said Section One of the Orange
County Joint Outfall Sewer has passed or is being transferred to the Orange
County Sanitation Districts.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT BESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha, as Contracting
Agent for the cities of Section One of the Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer here-
by authorizes its Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute an assignment of
all beneficial interest held by the City of Santa Aha as such Contracting Agent
in that certain oil and gas lease dated March 19th, 1945, between the City of
Santa Ana and D. W. Elliott to Orange County Sanitation District No. i as
Contracting Agent for the Orange County Sanitation Districts as these interests
may appear in the Agreement of Sale and Purchase dated February 28th, 1951.
PASSED AND ADOPfED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its
regular meeting held on the 19th day of July, 1954.
