NO. 5114 AS AMENDED ENTITrRD "RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A
BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN CLASSES OF EMPLOYMENT
IN 'l'~i~ MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF T/JE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND
ESTABLISHING BEGULATIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF PHESENT
EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE WAGE AND SALARY SCHEDULES PROVIDED"
WHEREAS, on December 26, 1951, the Board of Trustees of the City of
Santa Ana passed and adopted Resolution No. 5114 establishing a basic compen-
sation plan for certain classes of employment in the service of the City of
Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to make an adjustment of one Schedule
Number and add a Class Title and Schedule Number to Section 3 of said resolu-
tion.
NOW, THEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No.
5114 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the Schedule Number assigned
to the Class Title nominated "Assistant Clerk of the Council" from Schedule
No. 24 to Schedule No. 25, and by adding thereto immediately following the
Class Title nominated "City Librarian" a new Class Title nominated "Clerk of
the Council and by assigning to said new Class Title the Schedule Number of
30.
BE IT FURTHER BESOLVED: That the addition of schedule numbers and
the modification of allocation of classes of employment to salary and wage
schedules shall be effective from August l, 1954.

its regular meeting held on the 16th day of August ,
1954.
