S TB~ PURPOSES
ACCEPTING EASEMENT DEED FOR
WEEREAS, HARVEY FRANELIN BENNETT, a married man, has pre-
sented to the City Council an easement deed, dated September 2, 1954
for valuable consideration in the amount of $935.00, conveying prop-
erty in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California,
described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Northerly 50
feet of the following:
The East half of that parcel of land described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 18, in Town-
ship 5 South, Range 9 West~ San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
and ~nnlng thence South 15.095 chains; thence West 7.38 chains;
thence North 16.095 chains; thence East 7.38 c~ains to the
place of beginning, and containing 11.88 acres, and being in
the Stafford and Tustin Allotment of said Rancho Santiago de
Santa Aha, in said Orange County;
EXCEPTING FROM said Northerly 50 feet that portion thereof
included within the lines of East First Street and McClay Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: T~at the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with~e County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1954.
