STREET PURPOSES
ACCEPTING EASEMENT DEED FOR
WHEREAS, GEOBGE E. LEWIS and LAUNA K. LEWIS, husband and wife,
have presented to the City Council an easement deed, dated September
1, 195~, conveying property for valuable conside~ation in the amount
of $1188.00 in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over:
The Northerly 50 feet of the East half of the West half
of that certain tract of land described as follows: Com-
mencing at the Northwest corner of Section 17, in Township
5 South, Range 9 West,. San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
running thence South 65 rods; thence East 98-6/13 rods;
thence North 65 rods; thence West 98-6/13 rods to the point
of beginning.
EXCEPTING from said Northerly 50 feet that portion thereof
included within the lines of East First Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby Instr~xcted
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1954.
