FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHE~, CHARLES ARTHUR BENNETT, a married ms.u, has presented to
the City Council a grant deed, dated September 9, 1954, for va~unble con-
$ideration in the amount of $868.00, conveying property in the City of Santa
Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Northerly 50 feet of
the following:
Commencing at a point 30 feet South of a point in the center
line of First Street which bears West 487.08 feet from the North-
east corner of Section 18, in Township 5 South, Range 9 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in said Orange County, and
running thence South parallel to and 487.08 feet distant from the
East line of said Section 18, 1012.80 feet to an intersection
with the North line of Chestnut Avenue; thence West along said
North line 280.61 feet to a point; thence North lO12.10 feet to
a point in the South line of First Street; thence East 280.61
feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING FROM said Northerly 50 feet that portion thereof
included within the lines of East First Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 20bh day of September
1954,
