~NT FOR S','~----~---PURPOSES
WHEREAS, HATTIE D. BASLER, a single woman, has presented a quit-
claim deed, dated December 22, 1954, conveying property in the City of
Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Westerly 5 feet of
the following described property:
Beginning at a 3 x 3 redwood post at the Southwest corner of
Lot 9 of R. H. Skiles' Addition to Santa Ana, in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map there-
of recorded in book 3, page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; running thence East 211 feet; thence South 56.48 feet;
thence West 211 feet; thence North 56.48 feet to the point of begin-
ning; being that certain tract shown on a Licensed Surveyor's Map of
part of Lots 3 and 5 of McFadden-Wilson Tract, in the City of Santa
Aha, recorded in book l, page 54, Record of Surveys, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, bounded on the North by
Skiles' Addition, on the East by Clara B. Condor-Prince, on the South
by E. G. Huntington and on the West by Main Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: T~at the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTEUby the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of January , 1955.
