HomeMy WebLinkAbout55-051RESOLUTION NO. 55-51 ACCEPTING DEED GRANTING EASEMENT FOR TWENTY-SECOND STREET EAST OF BRISTOL STREET WHEREAS~ EMMET C. ROGERS and JUNA ROGERS, husband and wife~ have pre- sented to the City Council a grant deed, dated February 3, 1955, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana~ County of Orange, State of California, des- cribed as: An easement for street purposes over that portion of Lot 6 of the Bates Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 1, page 96 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described as follows: Begi~]ing at a point in the center line of Bristol Street: 60 feet wide, distant thereon North 0° 42' 50" East 274 feet from the Northwest corner of Tract No. 1739, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, pages 42 and 43 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, and running thence North O° 42' 50~' East: along said center line349.24 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; thence North 89° 50' 20" East, along the North line of said Lot, 40 feet; thence South 0© 42' 50" West~ parallel with said center line, 65.61 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 25 feet; thence Southeasterly~ along said curve through a central angle of 90o an arc distance of ~9.27 feet to a line tangent; thence South 89© 17' 10" East, along said tangent line, 65 feet; thence South 0© 42' 50" West, parallel with said center line, 60 feet; thence North 89© 17' 10" West 65 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 25 feet; thence Southwesterly, along said curve through a sentral angle of 90o an arc distance of 39.27 feet to a line tangent; thence South 0° 42' 50" West, parallel with said center line, 174.24 feet to a line which bears South 89© 17' 10" East from the point of be- ginning; thence North 89° 17' 10" West 40 feet to said point of be- ginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 30 feet thereof as conveyed to the City of Santa Ana by deed dated November 15, 1924, and recorded in book 591, page 219 of Deeds in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. NOW, THEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of .February , 1955.
