RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA,
DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST
AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CERTAIN MUNI-
CIPAL IMPROVEMENT, AND MAKING FINDINGS
RELATING THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and necessity
demand the acquisition and construction by the City of Santa Ana
of a certain municipal improvement, to wit: a public library
building with vehicle parking therefor and the planting and
landscaping of the library grounds, including the acquisition
of furnishings, fixtures, equipment and other property necessary
therefor. That the estimated cost of said municipal improve-
ment is the sum of $700,000.
Section 2. That said municipal improvement requires an
expenditure greater than the amount allowed for it by the annual
tax levy.
Section 3. That said municipal improvement is neces-
sary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers
of the City of Santa Aha.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of March,
1955.

of Santa Ana, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the fore-
going resolution was duly adopted by the City Council Of
said City by a vote of more than two-thirds of the members
thereof and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular
meeting of said City Council held on the 7th day of March,
1955, and that it was adopted by the following vote:
