TO CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNA'£~U "LE~9~2{ ANNEX"~ AND GIVING
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTEST8 THEBETO
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California, has approved
the description of certain real property as herein set out for the purpose of
annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation
of said territory; and
~, the owners of said real property have filed a petition with the
Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California, annex
said real property, stating that the same is uninhabited, consenting in writing
that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said
City contracted prior to such annexation;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana hereby declares its intantion to annex all of said territory under the
provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and
hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than
12 registered voters residing in it on March 18, 1955, the date when said petition
was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California,
lies in the County of Orange, and is described as:
PARCEL 1. Beginning at a point in the existing boundary line of
the City of Santa Ana, said point being in the South line of Lot l~,
of the Ports, Borden and $idwell Tract, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 4, at page 624 of Miscellaneous Records, records of Los Angeles
County, California, said point also being distant North 89° 53' 50"
West 468.00 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot lb; thence North
0° Ol' 50" East 202.00 feet to a point; thence North 89° 53' 50" West
70.00 feet to a point; thence South 0° Ol' 50" West 202.00 feet to a
point in the South line of said Lot l~; thence South 89° 53' 50" East
70.00 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2. Beginning at a point in the existing boundary line of
the City of Santa Ana, said point being in the South line of Lot
of the Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 4, at page 624 of Miscellaneous Records, records of Los Angeles
County, California, said point also being distant North 89° 53' 50"
West 588.00 feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 14; thence North
0° 01' 50" East 202.00 feet to a point; thence North 89° 53' 50" West
150.00 feet to a point; thence South 0° Ol' 50" West 202.00 feet to a
point in the South line of said Lot 14; thence South 89° 53' 50" East
150.00 feet to the point of beginning.
That said Council hereby designated "LEMMER ANNEX" as an appropriate
name for said annexation.
That said Council hereby declares its intention to and it will annex
said territory to and include it within the Santa Aha Elementary School Dis-
trict, Santa Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District
and upon the completion of said annexation, said territory shall be and become
a part of said School Districts.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that June 20, 1955, at the hour of 7:30 P. M.
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at Third and Main Streets, in the
City of Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed at which said
Council will hear protests made by any person owning real property within
said territory SOlrOposed to be annexed. At any time before said hour, any
owner of any of said property may file written protest against this proposed
annexation. Such protest should state the n~me of the owner and a description
and area of the property in the general terms.

the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced to
