WBEREAS, JEROME B. WALDEN and BRJ.~N S. WALDEN have presented to the
City Council a grant deed, dated March 30, 1955, conveying property in the
City~ Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for sanitary sewer purposes over the West 15 feet of
the East 670 feet, measured at right angles from the center line of
Main Street, of the following described land:
All that certain real property situated in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described in parcels as follows:
PARCEL l: A portion of Section 31, in Township ~ South, Range 9
West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and Section 36, in Township
4 South, Range l0 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, more parti-
cularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of
Section l, in Township 5 South, Range l0 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian said point being in the center line of North Main Street,
City of Santa Aha; running thence (with bearings based on the North
line of said Section i as East) North 0° 07' 30" East 17~.lO feet
along said center line; thence South 89° 58' West 1452.23 feet to a
point in the Northeasterly line of the Southern Pacific Railway Company's
lO0.O0 foot right of way; thence Southeasterly 215.00 feet along said
Northeasterly right of way line to its intersection with the South line
of Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian;
thence East 1324.58 feet along said Township line and the South line
of Township ~ South, Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
to the point of beginning;
RESERVING unto the Grantors, their heirs and assigns the nonex-
clusive right to connect to and use said Sanitary Sewer for disposal
of domestic sewage without the payment of any part of the cost of in-
stalling said Sanitary Sewer, which said right is the consideration
for this grant in lieu of any cash consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said
deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be
recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its
regular meeting held on the 2nd day of May, 1955o
