SETBACK LINES ON BOTH SIDES OF SANTIAGO AVFLNUE BETWEEN
WASHINGTON AVENUE AND THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY
WHEREAS, heretofore, on May 5, 1952, the Santa Ana }~unicipal
Code was adopted and said Code omitted the setback line on Santiago
Avenue established prior thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that there is need for
the continuation and re-enactment of said setback line;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to continue
and re-establish a setback line as provided for in Sections 9155
through 9158 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as follows:
Santiago Avenue on both sides, between
Washington Avenue and the Santa Ana Free-
way, 55 feet from the center line measured
at right angles.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the ~th
day of July, 1955 in the Council Chambers is hereby established as
the time and place when all persons having any objection to the re-
establishment of said proposed setback lines may appear and be
heard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is
hereby directed to give notice by publishing a copy of this Reso-
lution, once in the Santa Ana Independent and the Engineer's Office
is directed to post one copy of this Resolution conspicuously on
said street in front of each block or part thereof, where said set-
back line is proposed to be established. Both publication and post-
lng shall be made at least l0 days before the time of said hearing.
