WASHINGTON AVENUE TO EAST WASHINGTON PLACE
WHEREAS, heretofore, the Easterly end of Washington Avenue
was cut off from the rest of the street by the Santa Ana Freeway and
confusion has resulted from the use of the same name for both por-
tions; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after notice and hearing, has
recommended that said name be changed as herein provided for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the name of that certain
public street in the City of Santa Ana between Grand Avenue and the
Santa Ana Freeway heretofore known as Washington Avenue, be and the
same is hereby changed to EAST WASHINGTON PLACE.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of November, 1955.
