ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, JA~$ JOHNSTON and MARGARET LINN JOtTNSTON, husband and
wife as Joint tenants,' av-~'~resented to the City Council a grant deed
dated March 2, 1956 in consideration of payment of $240.00, conveying
property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Easterly l0 feet of
the Westerly 16.67 feet of the following: That portion of
"Lourle's Subdivision of portion of Hedges Addition to Santa
Aha", as shown on a map t~reof recorded in Book 5, Page 12,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, described
as follows: The West one-half of the South 50 feet of the
North 124 feet of the following described land: Beginning at
a point325 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 4 in
Block "A" of Hedges Addition to Santa Ana, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 31, page 48, Miscellaneous Records~
of Los Angeles County, California; and ~unning thence North
parallel with the West line of Baker Street 374 feet; thence
West 325 feet to the East line of Bristol Street, as said street
existed on May 26, 1908.; thence South along the East line of
said Bristol Street, 374 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot
19 in Block "B" of said Hedges Addition, and thence East 324
feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of March , 1956.
