THE OFFICIAL TREE OF T~E CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Garden Section of the Ebell Society of the
Santa Ana Valley, the Year 'Round Garden Club, Santa Ana, Cali-
fornia, and others have petitioned the City Council to declare the
"Jacaranda" to be the official tree of the City of Santa Ana, and
the Council concurs in this selection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the "Jacaranda" is
hereby declared and proclaimed to be the Official Tree of the
City of Santa Ana, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held
