WHEREAS, LYTEL D. LARSEN & VERA LARSEN, husband and wife, have
presented to the City Council a grant deed dated March 6, 1956, con-
veying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Southerly 50 feet of
the following described property:
Beginning at a cross cut in the pavement on the center line of
Seventeenth Street, said cross being located 474.37 feet East of a
bolt in said center line of Seventeenth Street, said bolt marking
the Southeast corner of the Bates Tract, as shown on a map recorded
in Book l, page 96, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County;
running thence North 0° 44' 3o" East 439.18 feet (bearing based on
Seventeenth Street as East and West) being the line described as ~he
boundary between the lauds of J. C. Kirby and wife, and Roy Mills
and wife in agreement recorded April 12, 1941, in Book 1090, page 24,
Official Records; thence East 200.3 feet to the line described as
the boundary line between the lands of Roy Mills and wife and Allison
C. Honer and wife in said agreement; thence South along said boundary
line between the lands of Roy Mills and wife, and Allison C. Honer
and wife, to a point in the center line of Seventeenth Street, marked
by a cross cut in the pavement, said cross being 674.67 feet East of
a bolt in said center line of Seventeenth Street, said bolt marking
the Southeast comer of the said Bates Tract; thence West along said
center line 200.3 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING the West 100 feet. ALSO EXCEPTING that portion thereof
previously granted for Seventeenth Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
cepts said deed and the Clerk of ~he Council is hereby instructed
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
