~{EREAS, Nicolas C. Luzania and Peggy L. I.%acias have presented
to the City Council a grmlt deed dated December 7th, 19~, in consid-
eration of payment of ~6,320.00, conveying property in the City of
Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
All that certain real property described in parcels as follows:
PARCEL 1: Cormuencing on the North line of Htckey Street, now
Eighth Street, at a point 401.6 feet west of the intersection
of said Hickey Street, now Eighth Street, with the west line of
Artesia Street, as said Artesia Street existed prior to Septem-
ber 1, 1924; running thence West on said North line of Hickey
Street, now Eighth Street, 200.8 feet; thence North parallel
with said West line of Artesia Street, 3~ feet; thence East
200.8 feet; thence South 3~ feet to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING THLREFRON the East 50 feet of the South 19~ feet
thereof;
EXCEPTING THEREFR0~.~ the South 12~ feet of the West 1~0.8 feet.
PARCEL 2: That portion of Section 11, in To%mship ~ South, Ra~e
l0 West, San Bernardino Base and ~,~ertdian, in said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of Artesia Street as said
street was established by deed to the City of Santa Ama dated
September 19, 1921~, and recorded October 17, 1924, in book
page ~, Deeds, records of said Orange County, said point being
12~ feet North of thc intersection of said line with the North
line of Eighth Street (formerly Hickey Street); thence Northerly
along said ~est line of Artesia Street 184 feet, more or less, to
the South line of ~e land conveyed to Deborah Carter Truman by
deed recorded December 3, 1924, in book ~2, page 227, Deeds,
records of said Orange Co~ty; thence Westerly along saidSouth
line 12~ feet; thence Northerly parallel to the said West line
of Artesia Street 46 feet; thence Westerly parallel to the
North line of Eighth Street 271.$ feet to the Northwest corner
of the land conveyed to Benjauin Walker and wife by deed re-
corded ~ay 18, 1923, in book 47 , page 7~, said Deeds; thence
South along the Nest line of the land conveyed to Benjamin
Walker and wife by said deed 230 feet to a point 12~ feet North
of the North line of Eighth Street; thence East and parallel
with said North line of Eighth Street 396.~ feet to the point
of beginning;
EXCEPTING ~EREFRO~ thc Easterly 12~ feet.
NOW, THEREFO~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ama ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
