Home My WebLink About56-229 RESOLUTION NO. 56-229 CONCERNING PARKING LIMITATIONS AND CURB MARKINC~ IN ACCORDAhCE THE~iTH: BE IT RESOLVED: That pursuant to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California and Section 3201 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, set forth in Section 3216 of the Santa Aha M~nicipal Code, as follows: On the South side of Memory Lane, between Flower Street and Lowell Lane, as follows: East ~00 feet and said street shall be posted "No ParWtng"; and the Director of Public Works is hereby directed to cause said street to be posted as next hereinabove described~ Any provision of this ordinance which regulates traffic or delegates the regulation of traffic upon State highways in an~ way for which the approval of the Department of Public Works is required by State law, sba11 cease to be operative six months after receipt by the City Council of written notice of withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public Works. Whenever this ordinance delegates authority to a city officer, or authorizes action by the city council to regulate traffic upon a State highway in any way which by State law requiree prior approval of the Department of Public Works, no such officer shall exercise such authority nor shall such action by the city council be effective with respect to any State highway without the prior approval in writing of the Department of Public Works when and to the extent required by Division 9 and Division II of the Vehicle Code~ PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ?.0th day of ..
