~2REA$~ the State of California~ through its Depar~:~eat of ~ublic
Works, D~.vision of Highways~ has presented a memoramdum of ~reement in accord-
ance with a project statement submitted by the City of Santa ~na for expenditure
of the gas tax allocation to citias for t~he fiscal year 1957~ and.
I~EP~EAS~ the City Cauncil has heard read said agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof~ and desires to approve the same;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City C~uncil of the City of Santa
that said agreement for ex~enditure of the gas ta~ allocation to cities be and
the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City.
