WHEREAS, LGCAL UNION NO. 1815 of Santa Ana, California, of
the UNITED B~0THERH00D OF CARPENTERS AND JOINERS OF AMERICA, an
unincorporated benevolent association has presented to the City
Council a grant deed dated September ll, 1956, without cash con-
sideration, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the southerly 50.00
feet of that real property described as:
Beginning at a point in the center line of First Street,
said centerline being the south line of Section 10, Town-
ship 5 Sguth, Range l0 West, S.B.B. & M., said point
being 1,432.03 feet west of the southeast corner of said
Section 10; thence north 0° 13' 30" east 656.03 feet to a
point in the compromise line as described in that certain
agreement between J. H. Stewart and wife, and L. L.
Merchant and wife, recorded February 28, 1925. in book
565, page 159 of Deeds, said point being ~93.42 feet wes-
terly of a bar marking a point in the westerly boundary
line of the City of Santa Ana; thence North 89° 14' 03"
west along said compromise line a distance of 351.00
feet; thence south 0v 13' 30" west 657.41 feet to the
south line of Section 10; thence east along the south
line of Section 10, a distance of 351.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion thereof previously
granted for street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of
0rangeCounty, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the %th day of November, 1956.
