HomeMy WebLinkAbout56-280RESOLUTION NO. ~6-280 ACCEPTING GRANT D,:~:~ WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California, on October 17, 1956, adopted a resolution selling, after Resolution of Intention was published as required by law, and did sell to the City of Santa Aha certain real property herein below described in consideration of Five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-eight and 60/lOOths Dollars (~5,538.60) to the City of Santa Aha, a Municipal Corporation, and has presented to said City a grant deed conveying to said City the property herein below described which is located in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL A: Beginning at the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land shown on a Map recorded in Book 2~, Page 34, Records of Surveys, Records of Orange County, California, also being the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land described as Parcel 2 in Book 1318, Page 531, Official Records of Orange County, California, said Southeast corner also being in the West line of Santiago Street (60 feet in width); thence, N. 0° 05' 50" E., along said West line and also said East line of said Parcel 2, a distance of 320.50 feet, to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 480.00 feet; thence, Northeasterly, along said curve, following along the East line of said Parcel 2, through a central angle of 13© 59' 00", an arc distance of 117.15 feet, to the intersection with a line, a radial from said point of intersection bears S. 74° 55' 10" E.; thence, S. 88° 39' 50" W., following along the North line of said Parcel 2, a distance of 26.11 feet, to the intersection with a curve, concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 500.00 feet, a radial from said point bears N. 50© 52' 35" W.; thence, Southwesterly, along said curve, following along the Northwesterly line of said Parcel 2, through a central angle of 13° 48' 25", an arc distance of 120.49 feet~ to the beginning of a tangent line; thence, S. 52° 55' 50" W., following along the Northwest line of said Parcel 2 and the Northwest line of that certain parcel of land described in Book 742, Page 370, Official Records of Orange County, California, a distance of 211.82 feet, to the beginning of a tangent curve, con- cave Northwesterly, having a radius of 1055.00 feet; thence, South- westerly, along said curve and along the Northwest line of said parcel of land recorded in Book 742, Page 370, Official ~ecords of Orange County, California, through a central angle of 33~ 21' 30", an arc distance of 614.33 feet, to the beginning of a tangent line; thence S. 86© 17' 20" W., following 'along said parcel of land re- corded in Book 742, Page 370, Official Records of Orange County, California,a distance of 4.12 feet; thence~ S. 1° 30' 20" W., follow- ing along the West line of said parcel of land recorded in Book 742, Page 370, Official Records of Orange County, California, a distance of 33.04 feet; thence, N. 88° 39' 50" E., following along the South line of said Parcel 2, and the South line of said parcel of land re- corded in Book 742, Page 370, Official Records of Orange County, California, a distance of 839.51 feet, to the point of beginning. PARCEL C: ~nning at a point in the Southwest right of way line of the AtchiSon, T~peka and Santa Fe Railway (100 feet in width), said point bears S. 24v 08' 48" E. a distance of 352.45 feet from the intersection of said Southwesterly right of way line with the Southeasterly line of the former right of way for the Pacific Electric Railway, said point also being the North corner of that certain parcel of land described as Parcel i in Book 800, Page 154, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence, S. 24© 08' 48" E., following along the East line of said Parcel l, a distance of 176.86 feet to the Southeast corner of said Parcel l; thence, S. 75° ~l' 47" W., following along the South line of said Parcel l, a distance of 257.81 feet, to the West corner of said Parcel l; thence, N. 38© 15' 17" E., following along the Northwest line of said Parcel l, a distance of 286.63 feet, to the North corner of said Parcel i and the point of beginning. EXCEPTING FROM the above described Parcels A, B and C, that portion lying within the Orange County Flood Control District Channel (80 feet in width) being forty (20) feet on each side of the following described center line: Beginning at a point in the South line of the aforedescribed Parcel A, said point bears S. 88© 39' 50" W. a distance of 369.68 feet from the Southeast corner of the aforementioned Parcel A, said point being on a curve, concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 1200.00 feet, a radial from said point bears N. 26° 22' 14" thence, Northeasterly, along said curve, through a central angle of lO° 41' 56", an arc distance of 224.08 feet, to the beginning of a tangent line; thence, N. 52° 55' 50" E., a distance of 536.55 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 1200.00 feet; thence Northeasterly, along said curve, through a central angle of 3°o 21' 00% an arc distance of 635.65 feet to the beginning of a tangent line; thence N. 83° 16' 50" E. a distance of 3.68 feet to the beginning of a curve concave North- westerly, having a radius of 1200.00 Feet; thence, Northeasterly, along said curve, through a central angle of 14° Ol' 10% an arc distance of 293.62 feet, to the intersection with the Southwesterly line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Right of Way, a radial from said point bears N. 20° 44' 20" W., said point bears S. 24° 08' 48" E. a distance of 397.79 feet from the intersection of said Southwest line with the Southeasterly line of the former right of way of the Pacific Electric Railway. Said Channel is more particularly shown on a Map filed in Book 33, Page 47, Records of Surveys, Records of Orange County, California. Conveyance of said Parcels A, B, and C hereinabove described shall be subject to the conditions contained in that certain deed from H. C. Schnackenberg, et ux. to the County of Orange, recorded January 10, 1936, in Book 800, page 154, Official Records, Orange County, California, and in that certain deed from Consolidated Rock Products Co. to the County of Orange, recorded July 31, 1945 in Book 1318, page 531, Official Records, Orange County, California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts said deed authorizing the payment of said sum of Five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty- eight and 60/100ths Dollars ($5,538.60) to the County of Orange, and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California, when delivery thereof is completed.
