ANA, and within l0 days after publication filed a copy of said Notice
and accompanying statement of reasons for said annexation and an Affi-
davit of Publication with the Clerk of the Council
NOW, THE~REFORE, BE IT ~RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana hereby acknowledges receipt of the copy of said Notice,
the accompanying statement and the Affidavit of Publication and hereby
consents to and approves the cirdulation of petitions as provided for
in the ANNE~ATION ACT OF 1913, concerning that real property in the
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Amended "South of SMELTZER A~NE~TION" to the City of Santa mAna
Beginning at the point of intersection of the southeasterly right-
of-way line of the Santa &na River Channel through the Newbert
Protection District, with the easterly right-of-way line of
Harbor Blvd. (100 feet wide), said point of beginning being a
point on the boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, running thence
S 18 o 16' 42" E alon~ said SantaAna City boundary? and along
said easterly right-of-way line of Harbor Blvd. 239.23 feet;
