ING THE GRANT OF--~ASEN~ENT FOR
T~E MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC LINE
AND STRUCTURES
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council
are hereby authorized and directed to execute that certain grant of
easement to the Southern California Edison Company for the mainten-
ance of electric line poles, necessary, guys, anchors, and other
appliances to supply electric energy for the use of the City of
Santa Ana across property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
A strip of land l0 feet in width lying within that
portion of the South 1/2 of Section 31, Township 4 South,
Range 9 West, S. B. B. & M.; which portion is described
as Parcel "B" in the deed to the Grantor herein recorded
November 16, 1956 in Book 3714, page ll4 of Official
Records of Orange County; the centerline of said strip
is described as follows:
Beginning at a point on t he easterly line of Santiago
Street, as now established, at the intersection of said
easterly line with the northerly line of the for~er
Pacific Electric Railway Company's Right-of-Way, adjoin-
ing said Parcel "B" on the north; thence southerly a
distance of 100 feet to a point which is 35 feet south-
erly, measured parallel with the easterly line of said
Parcel "B" from the northerly line of said Parcel "B";
said point shall hereinafter be referred to as Point "A";
thence easterly a distance of 120 feet to a point which
is 75 feet southerly, measured parallel with said easterly
line of Parcel "B", from said northerly line of Parcel
"B'~; thence continuing easterly, a distance of 35 feet.
