,,~PJEAS, heretofore on Variance Application No. 878 the Planning
Commission, after hearing, reco~m~endSd to the City Council that the re-
quest for Variance be denied;
~&TEREAS, after hearing and consideratio:~ of the facts, the Coun-
cil finds that special circumstmces exist and reasonable property
rights are not available to this locatioa without the gr~uting of
this Variance;
~0t~', T"ZERE?0RE, 3E IT ~SOLVED: That the City Council now
hereby grants a Variance to apply to prooerty in the' City of Santa
Aha, Count? of Orange, State of California, described as:
Lot ~ in Block "C" of Halladay's Additi:m to the Tovaa of
Santa Aha, as per map thereof recorded in Book 22, Page 14,
of Miscellaneous Records of Los An~[eles County, California;
to permit the constr~cti~n of a i~uplex upon the rear part of the
lot on t~e following conditions: That car ports for not less than
four (4-) standard size automobiles be provided, exclusive cA' the drive-
way area, necessary to get to and from the same, and that the o~vner
replace all broken side walk adjacent to said property, estimated to
be approximately 2% square feet.
