STREET TO EIGHTH E-~-~ET IN-'~ CITY oF ~BANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after notice and hearing
duly given and held, has recommended that the portion of street r~nning
East and West between Bm adway and Main Streets heretofore known as
Church Street, be changed to Eighth Street;
NOW, THEREFOltE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the name of that certain
public street in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of
California, known as:
CHURCH STREET, running from East to West between Main
Street on the East and Broadway on the West, which said
street lies a little southerly of the South line of
Eighth Street on either side thereof;
be, and the same is hereby changed to EIGH~ STREET for the reason
that said street is in fact a portion of the street elsewhere in the
City known as Eighth Street and is the connecting link, with a Jog
at each end thereof, of Eighth Street in the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th da~ of May , 1957.
