ANNEXATION TO ~E CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CER-
TAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
DESIGNATED "DELHI AND BRISTOL S. W. ANNEX", AND
GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF
PROTESTS THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California
has approved the desc~iption of certain real property as herein set
out for the purpose of annexation; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said real property have filed a peti-
tion with the Clerk of t he Council, requesting that the City of Santa
Aha, California, a~nex said real property, and stating that the same
is uninhabited;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to annex all of said
territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said terri-
tory is uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters re-
siding in it on Ju~e
13th, 1957, the date when said petition
was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha,
California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as:
That portion of Section 26, Township 5 South, R~ ge 10
West, in the land allotted to James McFadden in Decree
of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Saata Ana, record-
ed in Book B of Judgments of the Seventeenth Judicial
District Court of Los Angeles County, California, located
in the County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary of the City of
Smuta Ana, California, said angle point being a point on
the North line of said Section 26, 40.08 feet Westerly
(measured ~ cng said North line of Section 26) from the
Northeast corner of said Section 26; thence southerly along
the Santa Ana City boundary and along the westerly line of
Bristol Street, as described in deed to County of Orange,
recorded June l, 1949, in Book 1851, Page 303 of Official
Records, 4232.27 feet more or less to a point on said West
line of Bristol Street, which is 200.06 feet northerly
(measured along said West line of Bristol Street) from the
North line of the land conveyed to H. E. Huntington, Trustee;
and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence westerly
along said City boundary and along a line parallel with and
distant 320.00 feet northerly measured at right angles f~om
the South line of Talbert Avenue 40.00 feet wide, 959.20
feet to an angle point in said City boundary, and to the
East line of Lot 3 of Tract No. 88 as sho~n on a map recorded
in Book 10, at Page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California; thence northerly along said City
boundary, and along said East line of Lot 3 of Tract No. 88,
196.07 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 3 and to
an angle point in said City boundary; thence westerly
along said City boundary a~i along the North line of said
Lot 3, 666.22 feet to the East line of Lot 6 of the Williams
T~act, as ehown on a Map recorded in Book 30 at page 14 of
Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, and to
an angle point in said City ,boundary; thence northerly
along the East lines of Lot b and 7 of said Williams tract
and along said City boundary 851.61 feet to the northeast ~
corner of Lot 7 of s~ d Williams Tract and to an angle point
in said City boundary; thence departing from said City bound-
ary, North G° 53' West, along the East line of the Williams
tract and its northerly prolongation to the southeasterly
right-of-way line of Delhi Road; thence, in a general north-
easterly direction following along said southeasterly right-
of-way line to the City Limits of the City of Sa~ ta Arm;
thence, easterly along said City Limits to the point of be-
ginning.
That said Council hereby designates "Delhi and Bristol S. W.
Annex" as an appropriate name for said m nexation.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that August 5th , 1957, at the hour
of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at Third and
Main Streets, in the City of Santa Ana, California, is the time and
place fixed at which said Council will hear protests made by any
person owning real property within said territory so proposed to be
annexed. At any time before said hour, any owner of any of said
property may file written protest against this proposed annexation.
Such pr~ est should state the owner's name and, in general terms, a
description and area of the property owned.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th. day of June ,, 1957.
