WHEP~AS, ELKS BUILDING ASSOCIATION OF SANTA ANA, a Corporation,
has presented to the City Council a Grant Deed dated February 6, 1957,
with no cash consideration, conveying property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement over the Easterly six feet for street purposes
over the following described land:
All of Lot "A" of the Stafford s~d Tustin Tract, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 2, Page 618 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
EXCEPTING therefrom the following: Beginning at the point
of intersection of the Easterly line of s~d Lot "A" with
the Southerly line of First Street and running thence South
89° 07' 30" West along said Southerly line of First Street,
363.18 feet; thence South 89° ll' 20" West along said South-
erly line of First Street, 15.82 feet; thence South O° 14'
50" East parallel with the Easterly line of said Lot "A",
1240.75 feet to the Northerly line of Main Street; thence
North 89° 05' 30" East along said Northerly line of Main
Street, 379 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot "A"; thence
North 0° 14' 50" West along said Easterly llne 1240.52 feet
to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said Deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed
to cause said Deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, Cai ifornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the ~Ci.ty.of Santa
Ana at its regular me eting held on the 3rd day of ~ep~em~er ·
