SEHVEN ~*_ERE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMEND- ED D~R~ IAL WHEREAS, after hearing, on due notice, on Variance Application No. 916, the Planning Commission recommended that said Variance should be denied, and WHEHEAS, the City Council, after study and hearing, finds that special circumstances exist in relation to this property and that the occupancy of the present structure, after minor changes as a resid- ential structure, will not be detrimental to the neighborhood, nor endanger or harm public health, safety, or the property of others; NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that application for Variance No. 916 is hereby granted to waive the l0 foot rear yard requirement to affect the property in the City of Sauta Ana, State of California, described as: Lot Five in Block "A" of "Tract No. 227, Harwood Place" as shown on a map recorded in Book 13, Page 21 of Mis- cellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, provided no structure or building be added to the existing structure which will in any w~y encroach upon the rear ten feet of said lot; to allow the existing strmcture to be altered on the interior only to make the same suita01e for residence use, and to allow the occup- ency of said st~cture for residential purposes upon the following conditions: TGat the broken curb (approximately 17 lineal feet) be repaired, and the broken sidewalk~ (approximately 100 square feet) be replaced, a.nd that no new structure or exterior addition to the existing building be permitted on the rear l0 feet on said lot.
