ABANDOi~T, AN~'~CLOSING OF A PORTION OF VAN
I~JSS AVENUE
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 16th day of September, 19~7, the
City Council adopted Resolution No. ~7-244- declaring its intention
to vacate a portion of Van Ness Avenue, which said Resolution was
published and posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was duly held on the 21st day of
~, 19~7, upon due notice in said Resolution and said
pos s contained;
NOW, ~i-EREFORE, AFTER DUE HEARING, BE IT RESOLVED: That the
City Council of the City of Son ta Aha hereby finds, from all the
evidence submitted, that that portion of Van Ness Avenue herein-
below and in said Resolution described is unnecessary for present
or prospective street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said City Council horeby makes
its order vacating, abandoning and closing up, for street purposes,
that portion of Van Ness Avenue, in the City of Santa Aha, County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Ali. of Van Ness Avenue bounded on the North by the
South line of Eighth Street and bounded on the South
by the North line of Sixth Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of
19~7.
