HomeMy WebLinkAbout57-267RESOL(TION NO. 2~867 AUTHORI'.~ING CO--ION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR ~ ,~IDENING OF DELHI ROAD BET~'~EEN ~,~IN STREET A~D EVERGREEN STREET AND FOR THE WIDENING OF HALLADAY S ~RELT BE~VEEN DELHI ROAD AND kDAI~S STREET ~EREAS, Delhi Road as it now exists between Main Street and Evergreen Street, and Halladay Street as it now exists between Delhi Road and Adams Street in the City of Santa Ana, California, are inad- equate in width to accormnodate the present and future demands of traffic thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Sea ta Ana does hereby find and determine that the public interest and necessity rec~uire that Delhi Road between }.~ain Street and Evergreen Street, and Halladay Street between Delhi Road and Adams Street Oe widened, to accommodate the present and future demands of traffic thereon and further require that said City do have, take and acquire an easement for said purposes in and to those parcels of land in the City of Sea ta Ana, County of 0ran[~e, State of California, des- cribed as follows: PARCEL 1. The north ~0 o00 feet of the east 60.00 f.eet of the west 42~.00 feet of the tract marked "Pacific Electric Right of Way" on map of South Santa Ana, recorded in Niscellaneous Map Book page 43, records of Orange County, Cal ifornia. PARCEL 2. The north 20.00 feet of the east 120.00 feet of the west ~4~.00 feet of the tract marked "Pacific Electric Right of Way" on map of South Santa Ana, recorded in ~iscellaneous Nap Book page 43, records of Orange County, California. PARCEL 3.
