QUITCLAIM DEED TO ANTONE AND ANNA A. BORCHARD COVER-
ING FOURTEEN FOOT SEWER EASEMENT TO BE DELIVERED ON
A CONDITION
WHEREAS, it appears that heretofore the City of Santa Aha
proposed to deed its interest in a certain right of way to County
Sanitation District No. 1, and some question as to the accuracy of
the deScription has been raised, and
WHEREAS, s~d County Sanitation District No. i is reported to
be deeding its interest in the right-of-way herein described to the
persons herein named, and in order to assure a clear title to the
p~operty the City takes the following action:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the ~iayor and the City
Council are hereby directed to execute th~ certain ~uitclaim Deed
on behalf of said City quitclaiming to Antor~3orchard and Anna A.
Borchard all of the City's interest in and to that certain property
described as:
That portion of that certain right of w~ and incidentals
thereto, as described in the deed recorded August 13, 1923
in Book 485, ~age 57 of Deeds, and in the deed recorded
April 2~ 1924 in Book 519, Page 319 of Deeds, said portions
being described as follows:
A strip of land 14 feet wide, being 7 feet wide on each side
of and measured at right a~gles to a line which is the center
line of said strip of lar~, and which center line is described
as beginning at the common comers of Sections 2~ 24, 25, 26,
Township 5 South, Range l0 West, San Bernardino Base & Meridian,
said point being designated as Station 40 $ 20.4 of the survey-
ed center line of the Outfall Sewer of the City of Santa Ana;
thence South 69° 03' West along said surveyed center line a
distance of 458.78 feet to Engin?er's Station 44 ~ 79.18 con-
taining .147 of an acre of land, more or less.
Also, a strip of land 14 feet wide, being 7 feet wide on each
side of and measured at right angles to a line, which is ~e
center line of said strip of land, and which center line is
described as:
Beginning
Tract, as
Records of Los Angeles County, C~ ifornia, which bears South
0° 12' East and 4 2.31 feet distant from the point of inter-
section of the east line of said Lot l0 with the center line
Delhi Road extended easterly~ said point being designated as
Engineer's Statmon 58 ~ 89.44 of the surveyed center line of
the outfall sewer of the City of S~ta Ana; thence North 69°
03' East along said surveyed center line, 1410.26 feet to
Engineer's Station 44
at a point in the east line of Lot l0 of the Williams
shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page l~ of Deeds,
of
$ 79.18 feet, containing .453 of an acre
of land, more or less.
Said right of way being no longer used by the grantor herein,
and to deliver the same through Escrow No. 241810 in the Santa Arm
office of Title Insurance and T~ust Company, delivery or recording of
this instr%unent not to be made until a similar instrument from Sani-
tation District No. I of Orsa ge County, California has been or is
ready to be recorded, granting or quitclaiming the sS_me property to
the same persons as herein named.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of December, 19~7.
