CITY RECORDS IN THE 0PFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL
WHEREA~, it is n~cessary to have additional space for the
storage of current records kept by the Clerk of the Council, and the
Clerk has examined certain outdated records and has recommended to
the Council that the same be destroyed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council is here-
by authorized to destroy records heretofore kept by her described as:
Two Record Books - Register of Licenses
Four Books on City Accounts - December l, 1890 to May 30, 1923
Five Books on Demands and Warrants - May l, 1898 to October 16,
1923.
One Book on Receipts and Disbursements July 3, !gll to June
30, 1912.
Petitions, protests, communications, receipts, bills, opinions,
reports, appointments, certificates of elections, etc.
dated from June 21, ±886 to December 31, 1919.
All bids and contracts f~om June 21, 1886 to January l, 1950,
except franchise agreements and contracts not yet expired,
or completed, and leases pertaining to property.
Bonds of Public Officials, Electricians, Plumbers, Subdividers,
etc. from June 21, 1886 to January l, 1950.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at their regular meeting held on the 16th day of December, 1957.
