~&ENT TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO RITA DE LA RIVA
WHEREAS, heretofore the City acquired a certain lot hereinbelow
referred to for the purpose of placing thereon a public street, and
when said work was completed the property hereinbelow described was
left as surplus outside of the street right-of-way, was of such size
and shape that the same was not adequate as a building site and could
be of value only to the adjoining property, or in the hands of other
non-adjoining owners as nuisance value, and
WHEREAS, the buyer hereinbelow referred to has made an offer
to buy the same, which is fair, just and satisfactory;
NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED: That upon the recommendation
of the City Manager, and after study, the' City Council determines that
the real property hereinbelow described meets the requirements of
Paragraph 2 of Section 2613 of the Santa Aha ~'~unicipal Code; that the
total price of $500.00 is the fair value of said property, and that
the same should be sold as it has no value to the City. The Mayor and
the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute and deliver
through escrow No. 40909-0 at the Security Title Insurance Company in
this City a grant deed granting to Rita De La Riva that certain prop-
erty in the City of Santa Aha,
described as:
The South 18 feet of Lot
County of Orange, State of California,
14 in Block A of Tract No. 233, as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book 13, Page 9, Miscellaneous Naps,
Records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said South 18 feet lying with-
in a spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded northerly by the
North line of said South 18 feet; bounded easterly by the East
lines of Lots 14, and 16, in said Block A; bounded southwesterly
by ~e arc of a curve concave southwesterly, having a ~adius of
25.00 feet, and tangent to Said northerly and easterly boundaries,
for the total price of $500.00, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged.

at its regular meeting held on the
