DiSTrICT TO REMNNARATE $6,700.00 TO THE CITY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE CULVERT.
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement on March 26, 1957 ~ith the
Flood Control District to,participate in the cost of constructing a culvert
12' x 7' under Edinger Street at the precise alignment of Flood Control Bond
Issue Channel F-2 (W.~e~s_~ Ditch) and,
WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Supervisors, by Minute Order, on
November 26, 1957~ authorized the signing of the Notice of Completion for
the Construction of Improvements on Edinger Street, and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has, bL? letter dated December 9,
1957, sent an itemized cost breakdown on construction work in connection with
said culvert to the Orange County Flood Control District, and,
WH~AS, the Orange County Flood Control District now wishes acceptance
of this culvert construction work by the City Council of Santa Aha, stating
that said work was regularly completed in accordance with the plans and
specifications;
NO~, THEREFC~E, BE IT ~- That the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha hereby accepts said work of constructing said culvert at Edinger
Street and Channel F-2 and declares said work completed in accordance with
the agreement dated March 26, 1957, between the City of Santa Ana and the
Orange County Flood Control District.
BE IT FURTHER P~ESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
hereby request~the Orange County Flood Control District to reimburse said City
of Santa Aha for said work to the extent heretofore approved, that is~ in the
sum of $6,700.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its
regular meeting held on the __~rd day of Februar~ , 1958.
