TO THE CITY OF SANTA ~NA OF Tf~AT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRI-
TORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "FAIRVIEW AND CENTER
N. W. ~NEX", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEAR-
ING OF PROTESTS THERETO
WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California
has approved the description of certain real property as herein set
out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Connnission of Santa
Ana has approved said annexation; and
WHEREAS, the owners of all of the territory to be annexed have
filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the
City of Sauta Ana, California annex said real property, stating that
the same is uninhabited and consenting in writing that said real prop-
erty may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City
contracted prior to such annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to annex all of said
territory to said City under the provisions of the Annexation of Un-
inhabited Terzitory .~lct of 19~9 and finds and hereby declares that
said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than ]2 regist-
ered voters residing in it on the date this Resolution is adopted~
that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California,
lies in the County of Orange, and is described as:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of
Center Street (60.00 feet wide) with the North line of Fair-
view Avenue (60.00 feet wide), said point being on the City
boundary of the City of Santa Aha, California, and ~-unning
thence North 89° 5?' 30" West along said North line of Fair-
view Avenue 299.88 feet to the West line of Lot 33, Re-Platt
Santa Ana Acres, as saown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page
8, ~is cellaneous ~sps, records of Orange County, California;
thence North 0° 15' 26" West along said West line of Lot 33,
627.16 feet to the North line of said Lot 33; thence North
89° 56' 25" East slong said North line of Lot 33, 299.96 feet
to said West llne of Center Street, and to said City boundary;
thence South 0°15, 00" East along said City boundary 627.69 feet
to the point of beginning.
That said Council hereby designates "Fairview and Center N. W.
Annex" as an appropriate name for said annexation.
That said Council hereby declares its intention to and it will
annex said territory to and include it within the Santa Ana School
District,
Dist~i ct and upon the completion of said annexation,
shall be and become a part of said School Districts.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that April 7, 1958, at
7:30 P. ~. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
Main Streets, in the City of Santa Ana, California,
Santa Aha High School District and Santa Ana Junior College

son owning real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed.
At any time before said hour, any owner of any of said property may
file written protest against this proposed annexation. Such protest
should state the owner's name and, in general terms, a descPiption
and area of the property owned.
