WHEREAS, JOHN M. GOLD and MARY E. GOLD have presented to the
City Council a Grant Deed dated November 4, 1957, in consideration of
payment of $1,120.00, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Easterly l0 feet of
the Westerly 40 feet of the parcel of land described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 6 of Tract No.
839, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 25, Page 42, Miscell-
aneous Naps, Records of Orange County, California, running
thence South parallel to the East line of Bristol Street, 172.23
feet, more or less, to the North line of "Hedges Addition to
Santa Ana", as shown on a map recorded in Book 31, Page 48 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence
West along the North line o f said Hedges Addition, 174.50 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence North
along the center line of Bristol Street to a point which is
South 89° 38' 30" West 30 feet from the Southwest corner of Lot
5 of said Tract No. 839; thence North 89° 38' 30" East along
the South lir~ of said Tract No. 839, 174.50 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 43 feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said Deed and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said Deed.
