OF SANTA ANA, EL SALVADOR, GRANTING HONORARY CITI-
~S~IP AND LIBRAEY PRIVILEGES TO CERTAIN PP~MI~T
OI~ZE~$ OF EL SALVADOR
I*~E~W.~, heretofore citizens of the City of Santa Aha, California and the
citizeas of Santa Aha, E1 Salvador, have joined hands in friendship through the
people to people program, and
I~EA~, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana desires to send s~me
mementos as e~pressions of the good will that exists between the peoples of said
two Santa Arias;
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVe: That the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana hereby confers the rights and privileges of honorary citizenship upon certain
leaders of the people of E1 Salvador in trust for the citizens of the City of
Santa Ana, and their neighbors in the Countmy of El Salvador and orders prepared
and delivered to them, library cards granting privileges of use and assistance
through the Public Library of the City of Santa Aha, California and hereby selects
and specifically designates:
Honorable Robarto Lope~. y Lopez, Mayor of Santa Aha
Honorable Dr. Tomas Mariano Caceres, Governor of the Department
of Santa Aha
Honorable Dr. Hm~berto Costa, Vice President of the Republic
of E1 Salvador
Honorable Jorge Larde y Larin, Sub-Secretary of Oulture
Honorable Ingeniero Roberto Parker, Minister of Public Works
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That these mementos be delivered and presented by a
representative citizen of the City of Santa Ana, Cslifornia.
PASS~J AND ADOPteD by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular
meeting held on the 3rd d~ of March, 1958.
