TO CONSIDER FOR F~CLASSIFICATION PROPERTIES ON ROSS AND
DURANT STBEETS BETWEEN EIGHTH AND SEVENTEENTH ST~W~.TS
WHEREAS, after consideration of Variance Application No. 989
it a~pears to the City Council that the area hereinbelow ~efer~ed
to should be studied to determine mhether or not there should be a
change in District Classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
requests the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana to study
the land use of the properties between Seventeenth and Eighth Street
fronting on Durant and Ross Streets to determine whether or not there
should be a change in district classification from the R-2 District
to the R-3 District, and to recommend its findings and conclusion to
the City Council, or, on its ow~motion, to initiate such change of
zone as it may deem necessary in said area, or any part thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of May, 1958. ~
