A P~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC CON-
VENI~NCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE IMPRO~FEMENT OF
DAISY AVENUE AND OTHER STB~TS, ALL WITHIN THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held, duly and regular-
ly, pursuant to Resolution No. 58-121 and the laws and Constitution
of the State of California, on the p~pose4!m.mr~nt of Daisy Ave-
hue between Myrtle Street and First Street;iNyrtle Street between
Artesia Street and Daisy Avenue; Pine Stree{~Betweeu Daisy Avenue and
Artesia Street; and Daisy Avenue between Fifth Street and a point 632
&
feet - northerly of Fifth Street, all within the City of Santa Ana,
by the grading, preparing of subgrade, paving with plant mix surface,
construction of concrete curbs and gutters, concrete sidewalks, and
concrete driveway aprons, and appurtenant work thereto; and
WHEREAS, said improvement has been considered fully,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES'RESOLVEAS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the said City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines that the public convenience and necessity require the improve-
ment of Daisy Avenue between Myrtle Street and First Street; Myrtle
Street between Artesia Street and Daisy Avenue; Pine Street between
Daisy Avenue and Artesia Street; and Daisy Avenue between Fifth
Street and a point 632 feet - northerly of Fifth Street, all within
the City of Santa Aha, by the grading, preparing of subgrade, paving
with plant mix surface, construction of cnncrete curbs and gutters,
concrete sidewalks, and concrete driveway aprons, and appurtenant
work thereto; the nature, location, and extent of the proposed im-
provement and the district to be assessed for the cost and expense
thereof are shown, respectively, on the profile and improvement plan
No. AD 198, specifications entitled "Specifications for Improvement
in Assessment District No. 198", and assessment district map No. AD198,

Sheet 1.
SECTION 2. That the said City Council hereby finds and deter-
mines further that the ~Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation
and Majority Protest Act of 19~l" shall not apply to the making of
said improvement.
SECTION 5. ~at the said improvement shall be conducted under
the ~provement Act of 1911 which is Division ? of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Califo~ia, and the City Engineer and
the City Attorney hereby are instructed to present to the said City
Council the said Resolution of Intention required by said Improvement
Act to initiate the proceedings for the improvement.
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the adop-
tion of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
