A RESOLUTION OF TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING WORK TO BE DONE
ON MAIN STRRRT IN SAID CITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 58-131
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on the
19th day of May, 1958, passed and adopted its Resolution of Inten-
tion, being Resolution No. 58-131, to order the work described
therein to be done, which said Resolution of Intention duly and
legally was published as required by law, and notice o£ said im-
provement has been given in the manner required by law, and pro-
tests having been filed by the owners of the property to be asses-
sed for said improvement prior to the time set in said Resolution
of Intention for filing protests and having been heard and over-
ruled by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
quire, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby orders
the work described in said Resolution of Intention to be done, to
wit: the improvement of Main Street between Edinger Street and
Delhi Road within the City of Santa Ana, by the installation and
placing in operation of an ornamental street lighting system in-
cluding the installation of concrete lighting standards, mercury
vapor type luminaires, ballasts, lamps, cable, conduits, pull boxes,
and appurtenant work thereto.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed
to post a notice for five (5) days on or near the door of the
Council Chamber of the City Hall inviting sealed proposals or bids
for doing the work ordered and referring to the specifications on
file, and to publish a notice inviting such proposals for two (2)
days in the "Santa Ana Register", a newspaper published and

circulated in the City of Santa Aha, the first of which publica-
tions shall be not less than ten (10) days before the date said
bids are to be opened.
SECTION 3. Reference hereby is made to said Resolution
of Intention for a description of the work, the assessment district,
the bonds to be issued, and for further particulars.
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
