FROM EAST TO ~EST ON TENTH STBV. RT BETWEEN MAIN AND BUSH
WHEREAS, after public hearing on published notice considering
the establishment of Tenth Street, between Main and Bush Streets, as
a one-way street with angle parking on both the north and south sides,
though the Council finds and determines that a change in the traffic
pattern should be considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby
approves the diagram of that portion of Tenth Street between Main and
Bush Streets, as presented as a tentative or preliminary diagram, with
the exception that traffic flow shall be from the East to the West on
Tenth Street in said area, and with the exception that the radius on
the sidewalk island turn at each end of the parking areas must be in
accordance with the requirements of the Department of Public Works
of t~is City, and complete plans and specifications to indicate exact
locations of structures and the handling of drainage must be submitted
to and approved by the Department of Public Works for final approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a further study of the traffic
pattern westbound on Tenth Street in said area should be made to de-
termine whether or not Main Street north of Tenth is wide enough to
introduce that portion of said traffic turning to the right on Main
Street into the northbound Main Street traffic.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Sm ta Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of June, 1958. /
