HomeMy WebLinkAbout58-179RESOLUTION NO. 58-179 AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS GRA~NTING EASEMENTS FOR STREET PURPOSES ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF HARBOR BOULEVARD, THE NORTH SIDE OF HUNT- ZINC-ER AVENUE~ AND ON NORTH MAIN STREET, WHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION TO TH~ GRANTORS WHEREAS, ANN SEGERSTROM, ANTON H. SEGERSTHOM and NELLIE R. SEGERSTROM, HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, HAROLD ~/ T. SEGERSTROM, JR. and JEANNETTE E. SEGERSTROM, and HENRY T. SEGER- STROM and YVONNE deC. SEGERSTROM have delivered to the City thre_._e deeds, all dated July 3, 1958, granting easements for street purposes along the East side of Harbor Boulevard, on both North and South of Talbert Avenue, and a strip 282 feet long South of Delhi Road, and said grantors have delivered to the City a_~.deed dated June 12, 1958 granting an easement for street purposes along the North side of Huntzinger Avenue, East of Harbor Boulevard; and WHEREAS, BEATRICE V. CARRILLO has delivered to the City a deed dated July 14, 1958, granting an easement for street purposes on the East side of ?~ain Street, Sout?~ of Eleventh Street; ~d EDWIN R. PHILLIPS has delivered to the City a deed dated July l?, 19~8, grant- ing an easement for street purposes on the West side of ~,,a~n Street, North of Washington Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City is paying no cash consideration to aa y of said g~antors; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City accepts said deeds and directs Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
