MAIN AND BUSH STREETS TO BE A 0NE-WA~REET
WHEREAS, after study, it has been dete~ined that traffic
congestion within the City wou~ be relieved and that vehicular
movement in the area hereinbelow referred to would be more o~erly
and expeditious if a portion of Tenth Street were made a one-way
street, as herein provided for;
NOW, ~REFORE, BE IT RESOLED that pursuit to the provisions
of Section 4~9 of the Vehicle Code of the State of C~ ifo~nia~ and
to the provisions of tLGe S~ta Ana Municipal Code~ the City Co~cil
of the City of S~ta ~na does hereby designate ~d declare that
traffic on Tenth Street between Bush Street ~d Nain Street shall
move in one direction only, and that said direction shall be from
East to ?~est on Tenth Street in said area and all drivers of vehicles
are prohibited fr~ driving or moving any vehicle in a direction
opposite to ths~t herein designated on said portion of Tenth Street.
This Resolution shall take effect i~ediately upon its adoption
but the traffic movements herein provided for and prohibited shall
not be required or prohibited until such time as Tenth Street be-
tween Bush Street and Main Street ~s been posted, as required by
the Codes hereinabove refer~ed to.
