A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA ORDERING WORK TO BE DONE ON SIXTH STREET
AND HAWLEY STBW~T, IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION NO. 58-175
~gHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, on the
21st day of July, 1958, passed and adopted its Resolution of Inten-
tion, being Resolution No. 58-175, to order the work described
therein to be done, which said Resolution of Intention duly and
legally was published as required by law, and notice of said im-
provement has been given in the manner required by law, and no pro-
test having been filed by the owner of any property to be assessed
for said improvement prior to the time set in said Resolution of
Intention for filing protests,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience
require, and the City Council of the City of Santa Aua hereby
orders the work described in said Resolution of Intention to be
done, to wit: the improvement of:

Sixth Street between Hawley Street and a line 750 feet -
westerly therefrom, said line being the north line of
Tract No. 63~; and
The westerly portion of Hawley Street between Fifth Street
and the north line of Tract No. 633,
within the City of Santa Ana, by the grading, preparing of subgrade,
paving with asphaltic plant mix, construction of concrete curbs,
sidewalks, and driveway aprons, and appurtenant work
gutters,
thereto.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed
to post a notice for five days, on or near the door of the Counci~
Chamber of the City Hall, inviting sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work ordered and referring to the specification on file,

and to publish a notice inviting such proposals for two days iu the
"Santa Aha Independent", a newspaper published and circulated in
the City o£Sauta Ana~ the first of which publications shall be not
less than ten days before the date said bids are to be opened.
SECTION 3. Reference hereby is made to said Resolution of
Intention for a description of the work, the assessment district,
the bonds to be issued, and for further particulars.
SECTION 4. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth aud thereafter the
s~e shall be in full force and effect.
