PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO
t~fqEREAS, the Bo~ndary Commission of Orange County, California
has approved the description of certain real property, as herein set
out for ~ae pu_~ose of a~raexation, s~d the Pla~ing Co~alssion of
S~ta Ana has approved said ~nexation; ~d
¥~{EREAS, the oysters of more than 2~.;'~ of the total value and
area of said property have f~led a petition with the Clerk of the
Co~cil requesting that the City of Santa Ana ~nex s~d real prop-
erty, ~d stating that the sa e is uni~abited;
i~IOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to a~ex all of said
territory under the provisious of the Annexation of Uninhabited
TerritorTz Act of 1939 and hereby finds and declares that said terri-
tory is ~ni~abited within the meaning of Section 3~-303 of the fovern-
ment Code on ~ae date of the adoption of this Resolution; tibet said
territory is contiguous to t~e City of S~ta Aha, lies in the Co~ty
of Orange, State of California, and is described as:
Beginning at a point on the north line of Seventeenth Street
~0.00 feet wide, 320.10 feet w~sterly, meas~ed along~said
north line, from the west line of 01d '~stin .ivenue, ~0.00
feet wide; and running thence no~h ~ ong the west line of
that certain p~perty conveyed to v!mer LeRoy Benson and
wife as recorded August 12, 19~.6, ma Book 144-4, Page 266,

aated as an appropriate name for said annexation.
NOTICE IS HEreBY GIVEN t!~at October 6,~19~8, at the hour of
7:50 o'clock P.}[. in the Council Chambers in the City '[{all, Third
and ?~!ain Streets, in t~ze City of Ss~ta A_ua, Cslifornia~ is the time
and place fixed at which said Council will hear protests made by any
person ownin? real property within said territory. At any time be-
fore said hour any owner of said territory may file written protest
against th~s proposed ar~exation. Such protests shall state the name
of the owner of the property affected and the description sad area
of the property i~a general terms.
